Quality Policy
NLS Management believes that quality is a total company effort. Everyone has a role in the Quality Process and we communicate quality goals and policies to all employees within every department. Customer requirements are managed by our Sales, Technical and Production teams to make sure our customers get what they need every time.
Our quality program is planned and designed to ensure that we manufacture products that are defect-free and delivered on time. We monitor our processes, products, customer satisfaction, and suppliers’ performance using data analysis and a continuous improvement program.
Counterfeit Prevention
NLS understands that counterfeit parts create risk to manufacturers and customers, jeopardizing the quality, performance, reliability and lifetime use of products sold to the aerospace and defense industries. We have a robust counterfeit prevention plan in accordance with AS5553 and DFARS 252.246-7007, ensuring that our customers receive only authorized and genuine components.
Cybersecurity
As we have come to rely more and more on digital information systems and technology to do business, our sensitive information is under unprecedented danger of being intercepted and stolen and our core business activity is under threat of disruption by ransom seeking hackers. NLS understands these risks. In accordance with FAR 52.204-21, DFARS 252.204-7012, and NIST SP 800-171, our cybersecurity program is designed to protect the confidentiality of our customers’ and suppliers’ information, and prevents outside attacks to our programs and software. We monitor our cybersecurity system 24/7 and update its capabilities as needed. Your security is of paramount importance to all of us.
REACH, RoHS, & Conflict Minerals
We maintain practices that prevent us from producing or using any substances that are harmful to the environment or sold from conflict zones.
NLS complies with EU Regulation 1907/2006 on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH). We do not manufacture or import chemical substances, and our products do not contain any of the identified candidate substances above the acceptable threshold.
NLS complies with EU Directive 2015/863 (RoHS 3). We source parts that are RoHS compliant and do not contain any of the restricted substances beyond their acceptable level.
NLS complies with the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act Section 1502 pertaining to conflict resource disclosure regulations. Conflict minerals are resources that are mined in conflict zones and used to influence and finance armed conflict, human rights abuses, and violence. The four most common of these are the 3TGs (tin, tungsten, tantalum, and gold). While some of these can show up in electronics, NLS certifies the amount present in its products is negligible, and we rely on suppliers to provide information on their supply sources.
